A Leading Scientific Organization in Rehovot is Seeking a Production Manager for a CNC Machining Center – Workshops

Job Description:

Managing the production floor, including, but not limited to:

• Direct and professional management of employees, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and safety standards.
• Leading work teams in the production facilities and ensuring adherence to the supply schedule.
• A systemic approach to processes and work methods, driving continuous improvement in production technologies, inspection, and manufacturing engineering, as well as motivating employees to implement necessary changes in work methods in line with procedures.
• Managing material flow at processing stations in the production hall, and supporting the development of models, tools, and systems in collaboration with engineering departments and research teams, while providing solutions to issues during production and inspection stages.
• Supervising and being responsible for machine maintenance services, working with service providers to address breakdowns, and ensuring adherence to the preventive maintenance plan.

Education and Qualifications:

• Certified technician/engineer in manufacturing or industrial fields – required.
• (Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – advantageous).
• At least 3 years of experience as a production manager in a CNC machining plant – required.
• Experience with machining using conventional tools – required.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, designing models, tools, fixtures, and technologies used for CNC machining – required.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, CAM programming, selection and manufacturing of tools, fixtures, and technologies used in machining – required (Experience with CNC turning and milling on 5-axis machines and proficiency in Siemens NX software – advantageous).
• Broad knowledge and experience in mechanics, plastics, enclosures, and 3D printing – required.
• Experience with production management software and procurement systems – advantageous.
• Full proficiency in both Hebrew and English, written and spoken, at a high level.
• Goal-oriented, proactive, creative thinking, and the ability to work independently.
• High level of service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.
