Software Engineer

A start-up in the autonomous drone sector, developing end-to-end autonomous flight systems including hardware, drones, launch bases, and control software is looking for a skilled C++ Developer to join its versatile development team.

Their drones are designed for heavy industries, primarily for monitoring and analyzing large areas and generating insights based on advanced AI algorithms, operating in a Big Data environment. The drones autonomously execute missions and return to their base.

The company, headquartered near a train line in Modi’in, has 140 employees (90 in Israel) and operates in a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week.

Founded in 2015, they have raised over $72M across multiple funding rounds and serve paying clients, including Fortune 500 companies.

Role Overview-

As part of a versatile team of software, embedded, and infrastructure developers, you’ll work primarily on high-level C++ development (about 90%) on Linux, with occasional embedded integration. This role reports directly to the team lead.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Equivalent
• 4-6 Linux development experience in C++
• High analytical skills, ability to work in a high paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Good understanding of operating systems, concurrency and multi-threading.
• Good understanding of best practice software engineering processes, git version control, testing and release cycles.
