Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational systems within the organization, including production, engineering, planning and control (PPC), design and monitoring, information systems, procurement and logistics, quality control, process design, facilities management, and human resources within operations. Additionally, the role involves supplier management.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all operational processes are aligned with the company's goals, managing resources effectively, coordinating between departments, and continuously improving systems and processes.
• The Operations Manager plays a critical role in the success of CI-SEMI by driving sales and ensuring high customer satisfaction, especially since most of the sales come from repeat business with major clients in the SEMI industry.
• Ensuring the production and delivery of CI-SEMI products and services meet the agreed specifications, the highest quality standards, and are delivered on time.
• Driving organizational efficiency and supporting the achievement of the company’s goals.
• Monitoring operational processes, managing resources, coordinating between departments, and continuously improving products, systems, and processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning, production, and delivery of the company’s sales to ensure the highest customer satisfaction, given that most of the sales are repeat business from major clients in the SEMI industry.

• Ensuring the production and delivery of CI-SEMI products and services according to the agreed specifications, the highest quality standards, and on time.

• Achieving organizational efficiency and supporting the company’s overall goals.

• Supervising operational processes, managing resources, coordinating between departments, and continuously improving products, systems, and processes.

• Identifying operational issues and implementing solutions for improvement.

• Managing operational projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.

• Serving as a central figure in leading, managing, and setting an example for the company and the team.

• Managing global production departments, including: design control, management of mechanical and electronic assemblies, sensor and analyzer assemblies, managing testing and quality control, operational procedures, and ISO standards.

• Willingness to travel abroad as needed and Direct communication with the company’s international sites.

• Supporting/leading the establishment and operation of production and service infrastructure abroad, as required.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in operations management in a medium-sized industrial plant.
• Knowledge of the high-tech industry (understanding of the semiconductor world – an advantage).
• Industrial Engineering and Management degree – required.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Systems – an advantage.
• Systemic thinking and ability to develop procedures and work methods.
• Full proficiency in the use and operation of ERP systems (preferably PRIORITY).
• Knowledge and experience in managing manufacturing and logistics systems, budget control, and quality management.
