Junior Editing and Translation Associate

A young and vibrant, internationally successful digital publishing house is looking for a word doctor with a passion for literature!

What you’ll be doing:

·        Language and copy editing fiction and non-fiction books

·        Supervising AI translations of non-fiction books

·        Reviewing and approving marketing blurbs

·        Assuring the quality of edited manuscripts

We’re looking for someone with:

·        Enthusiasm for working in the publishing industry

·        Mother-tongue or mother-tongue level English and Hebrew

·        Strong communication skills – written and verbal

·        Translation (Hebrew to English) and editing (English) experience

·        A thorough, efficient approach to time and task management

·        High degree of proficiency with WORD

·        Extremely detail-oriented

·        Not just bi-lingual, but bi-cultural

·        The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Advantages:

Parameters of the position:

·        This is a full-time position

·        Non-remote
