Radio Validation Student

Autotalks is looking for a Radio and PHY Validation Student to join our Wireless Technology Group. You will develop automated test procedures and tools for tests and verification of our wireless communication system, use a variety of cutting edge test equipment, help run automated tests, measure results and create reports.

You will play a key role in testing a wireless automotive safety system that will be deployed in millions of vehicles. The position is part of the R&D group, working in a hybrid model from our offices in Kfar Netter, from home, or from our remote offices in Rehovot and Caesarea.

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Create automated test suites and criteria for validation of Autotalks' wireless modems.

· Assist in assembly and troubleshooting of Automation setups.

· Carry out various complex tests and ensure accurate documentation and measurement records of the results and operating conditions.

Requirements:

· Student in B.Sc Electrical Engineering (2nd/3rd year, RF/Wireless communication background)

· Basic technical background ( technician or practical engineer background - advantage ).

· Willing to work at least 25 hours per week.

· Linux\Unix operating system experience

· Experience in machine controls and automation test tools

· Experience in developing test instructions and procedures.
