Data Scientist

A startup in the AI field is developing technology to forecast flight ticket prices for online travel agencies, predicting the optimal timing for ticketing to secure the lowest possible price. The company offers a SaaS solution for flight price prediction and ticketing for travel agencies worldwide, including clients across the U.S., Europe, China, and more.

Located in Tel Aviv, close to a train line, the company operates on a flexible hybrid model, allowing up to four days of remote work per week. With a team of around 50 employees, the company is profitable and has an active client base. They reached break-even last June, achieving profitability on their own, with additional backing from leading investment funds.

About the role-

• Conduct hands-on research, analyze and interpret massive airfare related data sets on a daily basis
• Identify opportunities for leveraging our data to empower the solutions and suggest new products
• Generate significant outcomes in revenue by employing prediction AI and statistical models within the company product suite
• Understand the architectural constraints of the systems and work with a cross-organizational engineering and product team to quickly transition from prototype to a scalable robust implementation
• Work in a start-up environment both independently as well as in a team

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in machine learning and related fields preferably with experience with tabular data
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Extensive relevant prior experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
• Prior experience developing end to end ML/DL pipelines in production environments (EDA, Training, Inference, Monitoring)
• BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
