Senior Construction Manager

A Data Infrastructure and Analytics company is looking for a Senior Construction Manager. As the Senior Construction Manager, you will oversee overall project management at the developer level, ensuring that all aspects of the construction process are executed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Permits and Licensing: Responsible for progressing permits and licensing with various authorities to secure building permits.
• Design Collaboration: Facilitate the design process in coordination with architects and consultants.
• Contracts Preparation: Prepare contracts and agreements with the main contractor, designers, suppliers, and appointed subcontractors, including the development of tenders and detailed comparisons.
• Communication Management: Maintain ongoing communication with the project's marketing team, coordinating requirements and responses across all project elements: execution, design, and licensing.
  
  

• Timeline Management: Oversee and assess the project timeline as presented by the main contractor, managing performance control against the planned schedule (may require a dedicated scheduling professional later).
• Quality Control System: Develop and implement a quality control system during execution, managing quality control staff on-site, including construction and systems supervisors.
• Budget Oversight: Establish and monitor cost estimates for the construction budget, track monthly expenditures, and provide ongoing status reports for management approval.
• Stakeholder Interfacing: Interface with contractors, suppliers, designers, clients, and internal organizational teams.
  
  

• Education: Civil or Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in planning, supervision, and management of construction projects is essential.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in constructing data center buildings is advantageous, or alternatively in structures featuring complex systems.
• Safety Management: Experience in safety management is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: High-level proficiency in English is mandatory.
