Senior Construction Manager

Overall project management at the developer level:

• Responsibility for advancing permits and licensing with various authorities to obtain building permits.
• Responsibility for advancing the design with the architects and consultants.
• Preparation of contracts and agreements with the main contractor, designers, suppliers, and appointed subcontractors, including the preparation of tenders and reasoned comparisons.
• Preparation of contracts and agreements with designers, if required, and subsequently.
• Maintaining communication with the project's marketing team, coordinating requirements and responses with all elements of the project: execution, design, and licensing.

On-site project management:

• Managing and reviewing the project timeline as presented and detailed by the main contractor, including the Gantt chart with thousands of lines. Managing performance control against the planned schedule. (A dedicated scheduling person may be required later.)
• Building and defining a system for quality control during execution.
• Managing quality control staff on-site – including construction and systems supervisors.
• Establishing and monitoring a cost estimate for the construction budget, tracking monthly expenditures, and providing ongoing status reports for management approval.
• Interfacing with contractors, suppliers, designers, clients, and internal organizational teams.

Full-time position, work at the site in Netanya and the offices in Tel Aviv.

Reporting to management through the chief engineers of the companies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Civil/Structural Engineer – mandatory.
• Proven experience of at least 10 years in planning, supervision, and management of construction projects – mandatory.
• Previous experience in constructing data center buildings – an advantage, or alternatively in buildings with complex systems.
• Experience in safety management – an advantage.
• High-level English proficiency – mandatory.
