Mechanical Engineer / Practical Engineer

PixCell Medical is looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Practical Engineer.

The company develops medical analyzers for live cell diagnostics based on proprietary technology.

​ Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design
• Prepare drawings and documentation for production
• Assemble mechanical systems and perform calibration
• Conduct experiments to validate designs and prototypes
• Write clear assembly and work instructions for production teams
• Support the transition from development to production
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues in the production line
• Performing studies and experiments in laboratory settings

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Practical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5 years experience in mechanical design with SolidWorks
• Proven experience in mechanical design and SolidWorks proficiency
• High technical hands-on abilities with a strong aptitude for assembly and system troubleshooting
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary systems involving:
• Mechanics, motors, and pneumatics
• Electronics, sensors, and control systems
• Ability to prepare clear assembly and work instructions for production teams
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and system calibration
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in production environments
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
• Background in electronics or mechatronics - Advantage
• Experience with plastics design and high-pressure injection - Advantage
• Knowledge in automation - Advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including R&D and production
• Ability to prepare clear assembly and work instructions for production teams in English
