Unilever Global is seeking a Production Department Manager for the Safed site.

Job Description:

•Managing production operations in the department with an emphasis on meeting safety, quality, and efficiency requirements.

• Managing three shift managers in all aspects of plant operations.

• Directly managing approximately 60 employees, including recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, and work scheduling, while adhering to labor laws regarding work and rest hours.

• Initiating changes and improvements in the department to increase work efficiency and improve working conditions, quality, and safety.

• Meeting the production schedule, output targets, and standards defined by the plant.

Requirements:

• Engineer or practical engineer in mechanical engineering / Bachelor’s degree - mandatory.

• Very good command of English - mandatory.

• At least 4 years of experience as a department manager in a manufacturing plant food manufacturing plant experience is an advantage.

• Proven experience in managing a team of employees - mandatory.

• Experience working with labor unions - an advantage.
