Logistics and Operations Agent

Position Summary

The International Logistics and Operations Agent has the opportunity to learn supply chain from top to bottom in a young and dynamic environment and develop their career with a global, growing organization. The role focuses on operations, connecting with colleagues, agents, clients and companies across the world, to ensure timely delivery of urgent shipments. The International Logistics and Operations Agent will manage processes from booking through confirmation of shipping. Responsibilities include providing seamless customer-specific updates, including export, import, and domestic transactions and following customer-specific guidelines in the preparation and transmission of export, import, and domestic transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers and origin and destination location agents regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery processes.
• Monitor and manage shipments until completion. Keep customers informed with export/import/and domestic details of transactions in accordance with SOP’s.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Build relationships with customers, offices, overseas and domestic agents and service providers.
• Review standard operating procedures to ensure compliance, TSA and Ace Quality Assurance Standards.
• Operational follow-up through our unique system.
• Varied Shifts Available: 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 including alternating weekends.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Operations Management or similar desired.
• Minimum of 1 year of logistics experience is preferred.
• Fluent in high level spoken and written English is required.
• Mobility due to working hours is required.
• Ability to work well with customers and clients.
• A self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.
• Organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
