Technical Lead Frontend

We are seeking an experienced front-end developer with strong expertise in web technologies to take on a technical lead role in building and evolving our entire web infrastructure. In this position, you will define and implement software solutions for various services and algorithms, playing a key role in shaping the architecture and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our applications.

qbiq is a revolutionary startup that developed a first of its kind technology that is disrupting a $300B market of traditional Architectural Services. 

Our proprietary Space Planning AI engine utilizes cutting-edge technologies of deep learning for generative AI, image processing and 3D to automate and optimize architectural services for the real estate market.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Architect and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications.
• Work closely with product managers, team leads, and stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical specifications.
• Offer hands-on technical guidance and mentorship, promoting continuous learning and development.
• Conduct code reviews, uphold code quality, and enforce best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our development practices where relevant.

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency (8+ year) in frontend development
• Strong foundation in core web technologies with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Knowledge with Vue.js and its ecosystem (Vue Router, Vuex).
• Responsive Design: Ability to create friendly, responsive layouts, pixel perfect.
• API Integration: Experience with RESTful services and handling JSON data.
• Testing: Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Build Tools: Experience with parcel or similar build tools.
• Component-Based Architecture: Knowledge of reusable components.
• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering - Advantage.
• Strong team player, agile, with good communication skills, both written and verbal.
