Controller

Description

Our finance team is expanding, and we're seeking a Financial Controller to join us. This role will be a key part of the department, directly reporting to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP (P&L, B/S, CF, operating cash flow, headcount, revenues reporting etc.)
• Conduct and manage month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (including review of accruals, analytic reports, budget vs. actual etc.)
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting processes, primarily in NetSuite
• Oversee the billing cycle, including revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, and tracking SaaS metrics
• Prepare tax reports for the Israeli entity, including tax filings and other required regulatory reporting
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and third-party vendors for audits, financial reviews, and other compliance-related activities
• Provide professional support to bookkeeper activities to ensure proper alignment with accounting standards and business goals
• Take on special financial projects and tasks as they arise to support the finance team and business needs
  
  

Requirements

• CPA qualification with Big 4 experience – a must
• 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Controller in a global high-tech startup - a must
• Proven experience working with NetSuite
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of expertise in Excel, including advanced financial modelling
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Experience with NetSuite implementation – an advantage
