Global Logistics & Inventory Operator

The Logistics and Warehouse Operator at QM is a hands-on role central to managing and executing logistics and inventory tasks. This position involves overseeing the receipt, issuance, and quality control of inventory, as well as coordinating both import and export shipments globally to support QM’s operations. Working closely with R&D, marketing, and finance teams, the Operator will ensure seamless logistics for customer orders, trade events, and other organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Goods Receipt: Manage the receipt of goods, both physical and in inventory systems, ensuring accurate records.
• Issuance of Stock: Handle issuing items from stock to fulfill requests efficiently.
• Inventory Quality & Quantity Control: Ensure accuracy in inventory counts, maintain stock quality, and manage overall inventory integrity.
• Shipping & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate both import and export shipments globally, preparing all necessary paperwork and tracking shipments to meet timelines.
• Packing: Prepare items and systems securely for international and domestic shipments.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and finance teams to align logistics with operational requirements and ensure timely support for global campaigns and projects.
• General Logistics: Execute additional logistical tasks as required, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and efficiency.
  
  

• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, including pick, pack, ship, and count activities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Priority or SAP, for inventory and logistics tracking.
• Proven experience in maintaining and controlling inventory, including conducting audits, reconciling stock levels, and ensuring organization and availability of items.
• Proficiency in English, with strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Understanding of import/export procedures and customs requirements for smooth global shipping.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a customer-service mindset.
• Willingness to take ownership of inventory and logistics tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to operate effectively under time constraints and in high-pressure situations.
• Some experience handling electronic items is preferred.
