Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Bookkeeping to lead our bookkeeping operations and ensure accurate financial management for our global business. This senior role will involve overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping, payment processing, payroll administration, and bank reconciliations, ensuring our financial records are maintained with precision and efficiency. Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Ownership of Bookkeeping: Lead and manage all bookkeeping activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Payment Processing: Oversee and manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Payroll Administration: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate payroll calculations, tax withholdings, and compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements regularly, addressing any discrepancies promptly and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve and streamline bookkeeping processes to increase efficiency and accuracy across the finance function.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements; assist with audit processes as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, and HR departments to ensure alignment on payroll, payments, and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior bookkeeping or finance role, ideally within a global company in the high tech industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll management, and payment processing.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software; experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Experience with financial reporting and bank reconciliations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively with stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills is a plus.
