Head of Antenna Engineering

ELTA is looking for a Head of Antenna Engineering Department!

What will you do:

- Manage the field of antenna development and engineering for all Elta systems.

• Lead engineering teams through the development process.
• Develop various types of antennas and radomes.
• Analyze antenna performance based on the influence of the platform/environment and its impact on system performance.
• Lead all development stages from receiving the specifications to delivering the product to the customer.
• Use advanced design and analysis tools such as HFSS, CST, TICRA, and Matlab.
• Foster engineering collaboration between the department and engineering/business managers.
• Map customer needs and provide solutions during the development and post-delivery stages.

What We Are Looking For:

Mandatory Qualifications -

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics.

- At least 5 years of product development experience.

- At least 3 years in managerial roles (head of department/leading engineering teams).

- Experience managing a team of at least 8 people.

- High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Additional Criteria (Advantageous)-

• Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Electrical Engineering, specializing in antennas/wave propagation.
• Specialization in EM/Wave Propagation/RF.
• Significant engineering experience in relevant areas, with an emphasis on antenna engineering.
• Familiarity with radar/air defense/communication systems or other integrated systems.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in the defense industry.
