Big Data Developer

A startup in the field of data integrity, developing a system that detects anomalies in sensor data, with a focus on sensors measuring physical metrics such as voltage, current, pressure, rotational speed, temperature, and more. The system builds models representing the normal behavior of sensors based on their historical data using AI.

The company was established in 2017 by three experienced entrepreneurs and has secured around $22 million in Seed & Series A funding from top venture capital firms worldwide. With a growing customer base, the company serves clients in the energy sector, water companies, power plants, and factories, both in Israel and internationally.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv, near the train line, the company offers one remote workday per week and currently employs 27 people, 14 of whom are based in Israel.

Role Overview-

• Part of the R&D team, reporting to the team lead.
• Involves Big Data, software engineering, and data engineering tasks.
• Development is done in Python.
• Tech stack: Python, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, GitLab.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in Java/Scala development
• Experience as a Big Data Developer or Data Engineer, or experience with Big Data tools
• Experience with NoSQL
• Experience with Kubernetes – a plus.
