Senior Full Stack Engineer

The Role:

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of personal safety technology. This position works directly with the CTO and will be instrumental in maintaining and evolving our tech stack while preparing for our next phase of AI-driven innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain of our React Native mobile app, Next.js dashboard, and Firebase backend

Collaborate with and manage outsourced development teams to ensure high-quality code and timely delivery

Architect and implement data engineering solutions to support our future AI and machine learning initiatives

Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable code across our entire tech stack

Implement best practices in security, performance, and code quality

Manage DevOps processes and infrastructure to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our services

Required Skills and Experience:

7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on React Native, Next.js, and Firebase

Proven experience with data engineering, including designing data pipelines and working with large datasets

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in building and scaling products from 0 to 100,000+ users

Knowledge of maintaining high-uptime systems (five nines - 99.999% availability)

Knowledge of vector databases and their applications in AI

Experience with LLMs and their integration into production systems

Background in geospatial data analysis and optimization algorithms
