Join Resonetics, a global leader in advanced engineering and micro manufacturing. We're looking for a Development Manager to lead our Lightspeed team.

The Resonetics Lightspeed Lab is a group of engineers and technicians deploying dedicated, state-of-the-art equipment to provide quick-turn prototyping solutions for the medical device and advanced diagnostic markets.

Each Lightspeed Lab has technology expertise and develops manufacturing processes that can easily scale to high-volume production, which enables our customers to develop and launch products in record time.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Oversee engineers and technicians for efficient process development.
• Project Management: Manage customer projects, from quoting to prototype development and production.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships to support business growth.
• Technical Solutions: Collaborate on solutions to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Sales, Operations, and QA to ensure project success.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to 21 CFR and ISO13485 standards.
• Strategic Guidance: Represent the site manager in strategic decisions impacting Lightspeed.

Authorities:

• Approve pricing and NDAs
• Lead and set goals for the Lightspeed team
• Manage resources and equipment

Qualifications:

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related engineering fields
• Experience: 5+ years in the medical device industry, including team management and customer relations
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, SolidWorks; knowledge of NPI and electrochemical processes
• Personal Traits: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills; detail-oriented

Preferred: Familiarity with design for manufacturability
