Procurement Specialist

Description

Infinidat is looking for an experienced buyer responsible for hardware and OEM components procurement, deep involvement with supply chain, product and R&D teams. Responsible for component sourcing, supplier management, supplier negotiations. You will drive cost reduction, while introducing new components and alternatives to improve company competitiveness and assure of supply.

This position is expected to contribute significantly to the company's competitiveness and has a direct impact to achieve company product road map.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all procurement activities
• Manage A parts cost & supply
• Provide component category benchmark on industry dynamics, trends, and best practices.
• Build excellent relationships with respective global functions in the organization, act as a subject matter expert for component procurement
• Managing engagements and negotiations with vendors / suppliers
• Identify and lead cost reduction initiatives to achieve financial goals.
• Build and maintain long term relationships with suppliers and monitor suppliers' performance.
• Monitor procurement OEM/component KPI.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Technologies Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Over 2-5 years’ experience and background / knowledge of IT / technology procurement
• “Hands on” leading and execution A parts category (from sourcing to execution)
• Technical knowledge / background in Storage / Servers / Capital equipment or similar area – advantage
• Experience as buyer in High-tech company
• Excellent negotiation, communication skills, presentation, both written and spoken English and Hebrew.
• Excellent personal relationship (internal/external)
• Self-driven with ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
• Solid skills in Microsoft office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, BI tools), ERP – NetSuite – advantage
