FinOps Engineer

A leader in cloud technology solutions is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled FinOps Engineer to help them optimize cloud expenses and streamline resource allocation for their clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand their financial goals and deliver expert guidance on cloud cost management.
• Serve as the main point of contact, fostering strong customer relationships and conveying complex concepts clearly.
• Use tools such as CloudHealth to monitor, analyze, and report on cloud expenditures, proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing actionable recommendations.
• Analyze billing data to understand cloud services, uncover areas for cost optimization, and suggest strategies for expense reduction.
• Tackle challenges independently while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
• Share insights and best practices to enhance FinOps processes continually.
• Help define the FinOps Engineer role within our organization, shaping future strategies and team direction.
  
  

• 1-3 years of experience with AWS or Azure and a solid understanding of cloud concepts and services.
• Experience with CloudHealth or other cloud cost management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for dissecting billing data and spotting optimization opportunities.
• Technical background preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset, eager to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong motivation to drive positive outcomes for clients and contribute to the team's success.
