Senior Procurement and Logistics Manager

Job Title: Procurement & Logistics Manager (On Site,Petch Tivka, Israel)

Job Description:

Procurement & Logistics Manager responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, logistics, inventory, and leading efficiency processes to improve overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:

• Plan and execute procurement of raw materials such as wood, adhesives, complementary materials, tools, and additional equipment.
• Negotiate with suppliers domestically and internationally to achieve the best commercial terms.
• Monitor quality and compliance with standards of purchased materials and products.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers.

• Logistics Management:

• Plan and manage the logistics and supply of raw materials and finished products.
• Manage warehouse and inventory, including inventory control and tracking storage and transport processes.
• Collaborate with production departments to ensure material availability.

• Budget Control:

• Produce monthly and annual reports and conduct cost analysis.
• Process Improvement:

• Identify and lead efficiency processes in procurement and logistics.
• Implement advanced management methods for inventory management and operational efficiency.
• ERP System Usage:

• Operate with ERP systems, specifically Priority.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of managerial experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in industrial/manufacturing environments, and/or in the wood industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering - an advantage.
• High-level negotiation skills.
• Experience managing and motivating teams, with the ability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and understand economic processes.
• Strong English proficiency - especially for supplier negotiations (advantage).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across different internal and external organizational interfaces.
