Department Manager

The hardware manufacturing section is looking for a talented manager to lead Ser 3 and 4. In this role, you will manage the integration organization in terms of AOS plans, Quality, LEAN, cost, safety, and all operational aspects related to the production line.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for integration of all Ser 3 and 4 products including production cycle time, manufacturing readiness, quality, and safety KPIs.
• Manages a team of ~40 employees: Supervisors, TL, and individual contributors.
• Ensures the delivery of products and services that meet the performance metrics defined by next-level management.
• Lead NPI activities within the plant in collaboration with Eng. and R&D
• Lead and implement LEAN transformation.
• Collaborate closely with Operational cross-function organizations such as Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, and IT.
  
  

• A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
• B.Sc. degree, master's preferred.
• Engineering Diploma - Advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in an operations function.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of factory floor, material, or warehouse management systems
• Strong technical background
• Good project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Lean Sigma or Quality Improvement methodologies.
• Process orientation
