Senior Construction Manager

Overall management of the project at the entrepreneurial level:

• Responsible for advancing permitting with various authorities to obtain building permits.
• Responsible for advancing planning with designers and consultants.
• Preparation of contracts and agreements with the main contractor, designers, suppliers, and appointed subcontractors, all while conducting tenders and well-reasoned comparisons.
• Preparation of contracts and agreements with designers, as needed, moving forward.
• Maintaining a connection with the project’s marketing team, coordinating requirements and responses with all aspects of the setup: execution, planning, and permitting.

On-site project construction management:

• Management and review of the project schedule presented by the main contractor, a Gantt chart with thousands of lines, and managing performance control against planning. (A scheduling expert may be required later on.)
• Development and definition of a quality control system.
• Management of quality control staff on-site, including construction and systems inspectors.
• Development and establishment of an estimated budget for the setup, monthly expense tracking, with ongoing status reports for management approval.
• Interface with contractors, suppliers, designers, clients, and internal organizational interfaces.

Position details:

• Full-time position based on-site in Netanya and at offices in Tel Aviv.
• Reporting to management through the companies’ chief engineers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Civil/Construction Engineer - Mandatory.
• Proven experience of at least 10 years in planning, supervising, and managing construction projects - Mandatory.
• Previous experience in setting up data center facilities is an advantage; alternatively, experience in complex building systems.
• Experience in safety management - Advantage.
• High-level English - Mandatory.
