Head of Software Engineering Optimization – GenAI

We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Engineering Optimization GenAI consulting and solutions practice. In this high-impact role, you will help leading organizations to drive efficiencies and incremental gains across their Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), introducing cutting-edge AI technology and unique methodologies. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise, strategic insight, leadership and customer facing experience.

Key Responsibilities

●Build and lead the GenAI Engineering Optimization practice.

●Lead and facilitate discovery sessions with the client teams and work with senior R&D leadership (CTOs & VPs) in high scale R&D organizations.

●Identify opportunities to optimize engineering processes, develop and implement GenAI-powered solutions with our unique methodologies.

●Perform maturity and GenAI utilization assessment followed by an implementation plan to take the clients from current to optimal state.

●Represent the company externally as a thought leader, building relationships with industry experts and potential clients.

●Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in GenAI, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

●5+ years of RnD leadership experience, managing multiple software engineering teams.

●Proven track record in engineering process refinement and optimization within high-scale R&D environments.

●Demonstrated experience in working with GenAI technologies within software development processes, including coding copilots

●Experience leading meaningful customer-facing interactions

●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

●Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement

Preferred Skills

●Experience with LLMs and GenAI technologies, including tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
