• We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Controller to join our finance team and take leadership of revenue management for a global organization with approximately $2 billion in revenue, spanning diverse business activities. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in overseeing global accounting processes related to revenue, tax and other key processes, while playing a key role in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports. This position requires deep expertise in both revenue and tax accounting, with a strong focus on accuracy in financial reporting and insightful analysis.
  
  

What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Responsible for the overall finance function of Taboola IL together with the Controller.
• Completing month end reconciliations and financial data for corporate headquarters
• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting adhering to key deadlines
• Variance analysis both monthly and quarterly with detailed explanations of variances
• Key entry of accruals and prepayments
• Analysis of budget vs forecast
• Develop an in depth understanding of our key systems, and help to implement effective changes
• Manage cashflow
• Assist the company in SOX AND compliance
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and accounting standards
• Working with external auditors to provide necessary supporting documents, explanations and calculations
• Ensure filings of all accounts and tax documents timely
• VAT review and submission
• Employee tax forms and review of calculations
  
  

What skills and qualifications do I need?

• CPA
• 3-4 years experience in hi-tech industry, in similar role as assistant controller, providing the information detailed above
• Knowledge of software Netsuite an advantage
• Would be of benefit to have worked for a public company, and knowledge of SOX compliance
