Senior Cyber Security Architect - Innovation Specialist

We’re looking for a Sr. Cyber Security Architect (Innovation Specialist) who combines deep technical expertise with innovative thinking to secure our digital landscape and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

🔐 Security Architecture & Innovation:

• Lead our Security Controls Framework across cloud, AI, network, and platform domains
• Design and implement enterprise-wide security architectures
• Integrate security into SDLC using TOGAF and SABSA frameworks
• Drive "Security by Default" with forward-thinking architectural patterns

🤝 Strategic Leadership:

• Partner with startups, VCs, and academic institutions to identify breakthrough security solutions
• Lead technical proof-of-value exercises for emerging technologies
• Build comprehensive security strategies aligned with business goals
• Guide engineering teams on secure system design and implementation

🔍 Innovation & Research:

• Lead risk management and compliance initiatives (CIISec Framework)
• Engage with stakeholders, academia, and tech partners to identify and evaluate disruptive security technologies
• Lead and manage technical proof-of-value initiatives to drive strategic decisions
• Contribute to early-stage research in strategically relevant security areas
• Foster a culture of security innovation across the organization

📈 Growth & Development:

• Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
• Contribute to the development of innovative security solutions and practices
• Lead cross-functional security initiatives focusing on risk management and compliance

💡 Compliance & Best Practices:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, including CIISec and NCSC
• Embed security into the SDLC and develop standards that balance security with usability

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity architecture and engineering
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent professional certifications
• Expert knowledge of security frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA) and regulatory requirements
• Strong background in cloud security, AI security, and/or OT security
• Exceptional communication skills and strategic thinking ability
