Billing QA Team Lead

We are looking for an exceptional Billing QA Team Lead to join our dynamic QA department at MyHeritage.com. In this role, you will lead the quality assurance efforts for our billing systems, ensuring that all transactions are smooth, accurate, and secure for our millions of users worldwide. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment, ensuring the delivery of reliable billing features and the continuous improvement of our financial systems. What You'll Do:

• Own the quality of MyHeritage's billing features on websites and mobile apps, ensuring top standards of performance, accuracy, and security.
• Lead and manage a QA team, focusing 70% on hands-on QA tasks like test case development, execution, and automation.
• Work with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to define QA processes for billing and ensure proper implementation.
• Monitor and test billing integrations, payment gateways, subscriptions, and data accuracy.
• Identify gaps, assess risks, and drive solutions during development and production.
• Foster continuous improvement and align with best practices in billing QA.
• Communicate clearly with the team, stakeholders, and developers.
• Implement preventive measures to ensure reliable billing processes.
• Shape the overall QA strategy for alignment and consistency across teams.
  
  

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years managing a QA Automation team; experience in billing systems or financial transactions preferred.
• 3+ years in Java/JavaScript/Ruby/Python automation development.
• Expertise in QA and agile methodologies, including load, performance, and security testing.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Watir, Playwright, Puppeteer) and IDEs.
• Knowledge of billing systems, payment gateways, and subscription management is a big advantage.
• Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins) and billing platform integration.
• Proficient in API testing tools, browser developer tools, and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of cloud environments is an advantage.
• Skilled at identifying defects, diagnosing root causes, and collaborating with developers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hebrew.
