What awaits you in this role?

As part of a central DBA team, your role will involve integrating infrastructure and application capabilities, ensuring that our DBA systems operate smoothly and efficiently.

The role includes:

• Infrastructure Management: Working with DB2 in a z/OS environment, including management, maintenance, and executing backup & recovery processes.
• Information Security: Addressing information security issues and data protection.
• Development Support: Providing support to developers in software promotions and performance to ensure our systems operate at maximum efficiency.
• Shift Participation: Willingness to participate in on-call shifts in rotation with team members.
• Additional Opportunities: Possibility to engage in additional topics like Big Data and ETL based on capabilities and interest.

What are we looking for?

• Experience: At least two years as a DB2 DBA in a z/OS environment.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience with JCL, SQL, REXX, CICS, TSO, and z/OS – required.
• Additional Advantages:
• Background in working with a central DBA team.
• Experience in COBOL.
