Business Applications Operations Manager

As Lemonade scales its business you will lead the charge towards the most efficient Business Applications Systems in the Insurance Industry. ​​Reporting to the Head of Business Applications, you’ll help improve efficiency and profitability while creating automated and scalable business application systems.

In this role you’ll:

• Lead and implement strategic global initiatives to achieve business goals and operational excellence
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our company-wide business applications, and translate them into actionable plans
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize them
• Tackle large amount of data to understand the impact of automating various processes across the organization
• Analyze financial, procurement, and operational data to set accurate depictions of our unit economics—and work to improve them
• Partner with stakeholders in the Claims, Insurance, and Operations departments to set priorities of various cross-company projects

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience working in Business Applications or 3+ of experience working in consulting, required
• Ability to align various stakeholders to drive company-wide projects
• Proven experience analyzing and simplifying complex processes that relate to multiple stakeholders in an organization
• Experience in determining business requirements, collaborating with procurement, and managing projects that require buy vs. build analysis
• Data-driven and analytical thinker
• Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills
• Experience working with broader finance team (FP&A, Accounting, etc) to understand and improve unit economics a plus
• Experience working with Workato or other no-code automation platforms a plus
• Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
