Plant Manager

Eybna is in search of a professional and seasoned Plant Manager of Functional Food Ingredients and Natural Flavors. We are seeking a results-driven leader who’s capable of optimizing productivity, quality, and compliance in our manufacturing facility.

The Plant Manager's primary responsibility is to maintain the reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, which entails overseeing production processes, evaluating project and resource needs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all production activities to achieve production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives. Provide guidance and support to the production team, adhering to established policies and management directives.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to effectively manage raw material inventory and production schedules, aligning them with business requirements to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Establish and maintain production protocols to enhance operational efficiency. Continuously refine processes to elevate quality and productivity.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of production infrastructure in the functional ingredients, food and beverage industry. Ensure strict adherence to FSSC 22000 guidelines within the production environment.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication among relevant departments to swiftly and effectively resolve issues, ensuring satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, organize, and delegate work assignments to accommodate departmental schedules and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Work closely with the QA department to ensure production of high quality standards products.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Team Management Experience: A proven track record in team management, with the ability to lead, solve employee relations issues that may arise and nurture a team.
• Prior experience within the functional ingredients, aroma & flavors, food and beverage, pharmaceutical industries is essential.
• A bachelor's degree in life science, food technology, and/or industrial engineering - mandatory.
• High standards of working according to protocols.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey ideas clearly.
• Strong technical background in operating and maintaining manufacturing infrastructure.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (ERP Priority is an advantage).
• Fluent in English
