Syqe is looking for an experienced, motivated Embedded Engineer to join our team and help shape world-changing technology in the medical cannabis field. If you have 5+ years in real-time/embedded systems and thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, this role could be for you!

**In this role, you will:**

- Design and implement firmware for Syqe’s core products, handling both **high and low-level development** in **C/C++**.

- Develop and implement drivers, BSPs, and applications, with and without an OS, for complex embedded systems.

- Support algorithm development, IoT interfaces, and AWS cloud integration.

- Maintain development documentation, validate firmware, and provide technical mentoring to junior developers.

- Collaborate across teams to tackle system-level challenges.

🛠 **Requirements:**

- 5+ years of experience in real-time/embedded systems, focusing on C/C++.

- Proven experience in **RTOS environments** (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX, VxWorks).

- Strong debugging skills and expertise in hardware-software integration.

- Familiarity with Python, BLE, cellular modems, and electro-mechanical systems is a plus.

- Background in medical device development, new HW bring-up, or object-oriented programming is an advantage.
