Mechanical Design Engineer

CaPow is growing! We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in developing our ultra-deep-tech innovative products and solutions for wireless energy transfer systems for autonomous robotics. The team deals with multidisciplinary R&D tasks for developing in-house solutions and platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Be a major part of the company’s proof-of-concept projects.
• Finding solutions to integrate the company's product on various robot platforms.
• Investigating and exploring industrial robots.
• Electronics enclosure mechanical design including close collaboration with electrical engineers.
• Preparation of production files including mechanical drawing, PCB mechanical drawings.
• Be a major part of the system team to achieve product performance, schedule, cost, reliability, and quality targets.
• Taking ownership of hands-on-design, lab work, and assembly.
• Integration and deployment at customer sites.

Requirements:

• BSc in Mechanical engineering/ Practical engineer / Maker with 3+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in design with a 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience with electro-mechanical designs.
• Experience with 3D printing.
• Hands-on lab work, various assemblies and constructions.
• Experience in production support.
• Experience with mechanical design for robotics - advantage.
• Experience with programming - advantage.
