Product Team Lead (Gaming Company)

The Business Applications group in the Information Systems department is seeking a team lead to manage a team focused on customizing, designing, managing, and overseeing systemic technological solutions for the business game units in our company. The team lead will work closely with development teams and various game departments, including Customer Service, Creative, Monetization, and R&D, to ensure that products are aligned, maintained, and customized to meet client needs and business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Manage an information systems team, develop work plans, and assign tasks within the team.

- Possess technical familiarity with the architecture of systems currently used by the game teams under the team and MIS’s responsibility.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand the business processes of the game units.

- Identify and implement process improvements with a clear ROI.

- Oversee product management and customization to client needs from initial design through launch and support.

- Work with cloud system providers, evaluate alternatives, and manage the budget.

- Collaborate closely with Operations and Product departments to manage backlogs, priorities, and schedules.

- Act as a liaison between clients and development teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.

- Initiate periodic meetings with senior management in the game units to present work plans.

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience managing a technically oriented team — required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or Information Systems — required.

- Familiarity and experience with system integration and automation processes — required.

- Product management experience — an advantage.

- Experience in the gaming industry and familiarity with its processes — an advantage.

- Experience with CS systems — an advantage.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively.

- Task management, knowledge documentation, supporting technical specifications, and multitasking capabilities.
