Financial Analyst

Nofar Energy is a global leader in renewable energy investments. Since 2020, Nofar has been a publicly traded company at the (TASE: NOFR). For the last 12 years, Nofar has been growing rapidly and consistently, with an extensive portfolio of projects and subsidiaries across 7 territories, 200 employees worldwide, and major renewable energy and energy storage projects.

Nofar specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects for the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources.

It has over 1GW of projects which are yielding and under construction and is currently developing a broad project portfolio at different development stages of more than 2GW.

We are looking for a proactive person with experience in project finance modelling and structuring to complement our existing team. The ideal candidate would be a self motivated learner with prior experience in project finance transactions, especially in the renewable electricity field. Candidate would also have worked on project finance models and have at minimum the ability to update and maintain project finance models

Responsibilities

• Build and update complex models for all the company’s transactions
• Design and construct project financings and reflect them in financial models
• Presentation of model results and decision making runs to the company’s management
• Running financial scenarios for issuances at the company level
• Design forecasts and long term financing scenarios to assist the Chief Economist
• Provide service and support in analyzing transactions to the company’s platforms in Israel and abroad
• Operate vis different internal and external stakeholders and service providers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics\business administration\math\computer science
• Master’s degree - advantage
• 3-5 years of experience in debt analysis\financial consulting\economic department
• Experience in renewable energy – significant advantage
• Experience in constructing complex models\VBA – significant advantage
• High proficiency in English
• High proficiency in Excel
