As a Backend Developer at GeoEdge, you'll play a key role in safeguarding digital experiences by building powerful, scalable solutions to combat disruptive ads. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, tackle real-world challenges in big data and cloud environments, and collaborate with a skilled, supportive team- all while contributing to a safer online world.

Our Technical Stack: AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Opensearch, Step Functions, K8s, ArgoCD, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis

What you will do:

• Be an active team member in designing and implementing our existing and newly developed features to support our constantly increasing scale
• Responsibility of end-to-end development and execution - from design to production
• Solve real-life challenges working on big data in cloud environment
• Work closely with the Product team and translate product requirements to technical specifications
• Implementation of advanced data analytics ETL's

Requirements:

At least 4 years of relevant experience in distributed backend systems.

3+ years of experience with JavaScript / Typescript

Experience with microservices architecture

Experience with serverless architecture

Experience with relational or document-based databases.

Experience with Big Data technologies

Experience with testing methodologies - unit-testing, integration, mocking, etc.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

Team Player, great communication skills

Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies.

Advantages:

Experience in designing and implementing robust ETL/data processing pipelines.

Have 2+ years of experience with NestJs

Experience with CI/CD processes and tools

Experience with Serverless framework

Experience with Event based architecture and infrastructures such as Kinesis, SNS/SQS, Step Functions
