Philanthropic partnerships Director

Asif is a non-profit organization founded by the Jewish Food Society and Start-Up Nation Central.

It is the first center of its kind, dedicated to supporting the growth and documentation of the diverse local culinary culture and serving as a hub for dialogue, research, and practical culinary engagement.

Job Description:

- Developing and managing partnerships with the business and philanthropy sector

- Internal collaboration with professional managers within the organization

- Mapping and building work plans and projects for fundraising from philanthropic foundations and corporate donors, in Israel and globally.

- Managing the organization's resource development system, philanthropy, and business sector relationships

- Assisting in setting the organization's resource development policy

- Writing proposals and inquiries in both Hebrew and English

Job Requirements:

- Previous (at least 7 years) proven experience in fundraising, resource development, and partnership management – mandatory

• Fluent English speaker and familiarity with American culture – mandatory
• Connection and familiarity with Israeli culture – a significant advantage
• Previous experience working in non-profit organizations- mandatory
• Excellent verbal communication and high-level writing skills
• Strong interpersonal communication, excellent relationship-building, ability to work independently and in a team
