Assistant Controller

Pi-Cardia, a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations, is looking for a skilled Controller Assistant to join our team. If you excel in managing accounting records, analyzing budgets, preparing financials for audits, and collaborating closely with accounting teams and colleagues in Israel and the U.S., we want to hear from you. Use your expertise to ensure financial accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and support the company’s financial health and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing management of the company’s accounting books.
• Coordination with the U.S. subsidiary.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Preparing balance sheets and generating management reports.
• Supporting the annual planning and budgeting process and tracking actual performance against the budget.
• Involvement in special projects and additional financial processes as needed.

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in a similar role – a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Priority accounting software – mandatory.
• Strong team collaboration skills, with a high degree of self-management.
• Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification – must.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) – must.
• High proficiency in Excel and other Office tools – must.
• Organized, proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
