Director of Engineering

A profitable company in the restaurant and corporate catering sector, located in Ramat Gan near a train line, is looking for a Director of Engineering to join their team!

This innovative company specializes in workplace catering solutions that support employee health and well-being, fostering a new organizational culture focused on a healthy lifestyle. With around 500 client companies and approximately 70,000 end users, the company currently holds a 20% market share.

The team works one day a week from home, with nearly 70 employees in total.

The company’s app offers various health-focused services, such as nutrition and fitness lectures, sports activities, health checks, dietary advice, and a Q&A forum led by a clinical dietitian and fitness coach. Other app features include notifications and reminders for corporate events, employee recognition, benefits, and expense reimbursement services.

Position Overview:

• Reporting to: COO
• Team Leadership: Manage a group of 15, including four team leads (Frontend, Full Stack, QA, Backend).
• Tech Stack: Web, Python, Django, AWS, RESTful APIs, React, Agile/Scrum.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in marketplace/e-commerce products.
• Proven ability in managing teams of 20+ employees.
• 3 years of senior-level management experience (higher than Team Lead).
• Proficiency in Python with a strong full-stack background.
