Role Description

This is a full-time Senior DevOps Engineer role at STB Union in Rishon LeZion, with flexibility for hybrid work. Our tech stack: AWS (ECS, SQS/SNS, RDS, ElastiCache), Terraform, GitLab CI, Docker, Grafana, Java, Angular, React Native.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with production responsibility

- Strong Linux and network administration skills

- Experience with high-availability production systems, understanding SLA/SLO/SLI

- Experience with: AWS ECS, EKS, SQS, RDS (PostgreSQL), ElastiCache (Redis), K8s, Helm

- Experience with: Terraform, GitLab, ArgoCD, NewRelic or DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK

- Hands-on experience with at least one language: Bash, Python, Go, Java, Rust

- Comfortable to speak in Russian, Hebrew, and English

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in fintech or banking sectors

- Knowledge of financial compliance requirements (Israeli and international)

- Experience with transformation to microservices architecture

- Experience with Go-lang, OPA, RabbitMQ, NATS or Kafka

- Background in security best practices for financial systems

Core Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS

- Lead and implement DevOps best practices and automation strategies

- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD

- Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems (24/7)

- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions

- Drive infrastructure security and compliance adherence for fintech regulations

- Collaborate with distributed development teams to improve deployment processes

- Research and integrate new DevOps technologies and best practices

- Manage and optimize container orchestration using Kubernetes

- Set and track performance KPIs for infrastructure and deployments
