Role Description

Momentick is seeking an exceptional Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This position encompasses the development and deployment of robust computer vision algorithms. The candidate should be able to fluently read and comprehend scientific papers in the fields of satellite imagery and radiation transmission. Clean and high level code standards are expected. The ideal candidate is a climate-oriented, self motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced object-oriented computer vision algorithms to detect gas presence using multispectral drone and satellite imagery.
• Read and realize state of the art scientific studies and conduct comparison studies.
• Streamline deployment and management of computer vision algorithms, utilizing Docker containerization for scalability and efficiency.
• Be a key figure within the R&D team and guide strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Python - mandatory. 
• English in native level proficiency - mandatory.
• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics. Ph.D.- Advantage.
• Proven 6+ years of experience in developing and deploying computer vision algorithms such as object tracking, segmentation, classification, etc.
• Expertise in developing classic computer vision algorithms.
• Experience in developing Deep learning algorithms using libraries and frameworks, such as PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity in working with Dockers.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. 
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience in mentoring team members.
