Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Technology Market Research Analyst to support the Chief of Staff. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping us understand the evolving technological landscape across various industries. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth market research, analyze emerging trends, and provide insightful reports to guide our research initiatives and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Based on detailed research briefs provided by the Chief of Staff or her team, you will be expected to gather data and insights from diverse open and publicly available sources, synthesize them and generate reports (doc / presentation) such as:
• Market research reports - Investigate and analyze technology trends in key sectors such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Climate Tech, Healthcare, and others as assigned.
• Trends report - Identify key developments: Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements, breakthroughs, and disruptions within target industries.
• Competitive analysis reports: Evaluate the competitive landscape by identifying key players, their market share, strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.
• Technology mapping reports: Map out key technologies, their applications, and their potential impact on different industries.
• Feature analysis and benchmarking reports: Analyze new product features, functionalities, and performance benchmarks within specific technology areas.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with researchers, analysts, and other stakeholders across the organization to share knowledge and support research projects.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Market Research, or Business Administration. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (2+ years) conducting technology market research and analysis.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and analytical techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for staying ahead of technology trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
