Computer Vision Engineer

A profitable cybersecurity startup developing a B2B on-premises user authentication platform, integrating with banks and insurance companies for fingerprint, facial recognition, and other biometric authentication solutions. The platform is widely adopted by some of the largest and most well-known banks and insurance firms worldwide. Additionally, the company offers a SaaS product with similar capabilities aimed at smaller organizations.

The role is part of a team responsible for researching and developing computer vision algorithms to solve a range of challenges, including facial recognition from scratch, deepfake analysis, and GenAI applications.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, the company operates a hybrid model with three days in the office. With nearly $500M raised at a $2.2B valuation, the company has 200 employees globally, including 100 in Israel.

Responsibilities include end-to-end work from tech research to production, covering Data Science tasks such as Machine Learning, Data Mining, data collection, research, defining data pipelines, best practices, metrics evaluation, and working with SOTA methods. Coding is in Python within a GCP environment, using Vector DB, NoSQL, Deep Learning, and libraries like NumPy, Scikit-learn, OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

Requirements-

• Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a data-scientist/algorithms-developer/software-engineer position/CV-engineer.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of data science toolkits such as NumPy, Scikit-learn and OpenCV/PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure.
• Independent, persistent, and a "getting things done" person.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability and drive to learn new things.
