Mobile Engineer

A Fintech startup company dedicated to making financial transactions accessible to everyone, including underserved populations, while adhering to the latest international security and data protection standards. The company offers a multi-currency Visa card and a versatile mobile application, as well as a website that supports offline transactions.

Located in central Israel, the company allows a hybrid work model with up to three work-from-home days after the training period. The team consists of 30 employees.

Role Description: Join an existing team, reporting to the Team Lead, and develop for both Android and iOS using React Native.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front end components for mobile and web applications using React, React Native, and Angular frameworks.
• Collaborate with the back-end team to design and implement APIs and integration points.
• Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and scalability of applications across various platforms.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the live environment.
• Stay up to date with emerging front end technologies and best practices.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in front end development.
• Experience in mobile app development (hybrid)
• Proficiency in React, React Native, and Angular frameworks.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a fintech company is an advantage.
• Worked on live applications is an advantage
