A top news agency is seeking a highly organized and versatile B2B Growth Marketing Specialist to join their team. This is a strategic and hands-on role, combining elements of digital marketing, project management, sales, and implementation. The ideal candidate will effectively oversee multiple responsibilities including managing internal advertising opportunities, handle outreach and monetization efforts, and also take on the implementation of various digital marketing strategies.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization’s growth by driving digital initiatives, optimizing advertising opportunities, and supporting various strategic projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage internal advertising opportunities, sponsorships, advertising placements, email list sales, and syndication deals.
- Identify and implement strategies to monetize the website, including joint ventures, sponsorships and influencer partnerships.
- Manage and implement outreach efforts to secure advertising deals, ensuring competitive rates and maximizing revenue.
- Create and maintain a system for tracking and optimizing ad performance.
- Assist the Director of Marketing in implementing various digital marketing strategies, taking ownership of assigned projects from conception to completion
- Regularly report on the performance of digital initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
- Leverage marketing automation tools and CRM systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Set up and optimize workflows for digital campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and tracking.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B digital marketing and project management
- Proven experience in managing digital advertising and monetization efforts
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset, with experience in analyzing and reporting on digital campaign performance
- A proactive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to take on diverse tasks and get hands-on when needed.
- Experience in sales or outreach.
- Must have experience using tools like Monday.com, HubSpot, Excel and Google Analytics for project and task management.
