Security Architect - Vulnerability Research

We are seeking a Security Architect who will lead our security research, vulnerability discovery, and offensive security testing initiatives:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead vulnerability research programs and develop novel exploitation techniques
• Design and implement custom fuzzing frameworks to discover security vulnerabilities
• Conduct in-depth security assessments and penetration testing of complex systems
• Research and discover novel attack vectors in distributed systems and network protocols
• Create automated security testing pipelines for continuous vulnerability discovery
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate security findings
• Drive secure development practices and implement security controls throughout the SDLC
• Lead security incident response for vulnerability discoveries
• Mentor team members on advanced exploitation techniques and vulnerability research
• Maintain relationships with the security research community and track emerging threats

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software security engineering experience
• Strong track record in vulnerability research and CVE discovery
• Demonstrated expertise in:
• Custom fuzzing framework development (e.g., LibFuzzer, AFL, custom fuzzers)
• Binary analysis and exploitation techniques
• Memory corruption vulnerability discovery
• Protocol fuzzing and network security
• Reverse engineering and vulnerability research
• Static and dynamic analysis tooling
• Advanced programming skills in languages commonly used for security tooling (C/C++, Python)
• Experience with modern exploitation mitigation techniques and bypass methods
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix security architecture

Desired Qualifications:

• Published CVEs or security advisories
• Contributions to open-source security tools or fuzzing frameworks (e.g., AFL, Syzkaller, etc.)
• Expertise in one or more areas:
• Kernel security research
• Browser security
• Hardware security
• Cloud infrastructure security
• Supply chain security
• Experience building security automation pipelines
• Knowledge of symbolic execution and formal verification techniques
• Track record of responsible disclosure and working with vendors
