Senior Sourcing Manager - Contractual Services

Responsible for overseeing contracting and sourcing at ICL sites in Israel, including complex projects. This role demands a professional with a deep industry understanding, exceptional communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure the availability of critical contractual services. The position involves responding promptly to urgent repairs and supporting long-term projects while maintaining cost-effective and reliable service agreements.

your goal will be to procure indirect services, strategic and sourcing activities within the contractors category focusing on metal and piping construction works at annual agreements and on going projects in ICL sites

Roles and Responsibilities

Sourcing:

Explore and Implement cost reduction initiatives on both annual agreements and projects ,Perform best-in-class negotiation processes via analysis of supply & demand trends

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with the company's objectives

Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of contractors, markets & trends of the sub-category, both in Israel and abroad and identify potential contractors to ensure a diverse and robust contractors' base.

Promoting optimization processes of demand and processes in ICL - through collaboration with the relevant units in the company

Analysis and presentation of commercial data, in front of senior officials and GPO steering committees

Supplier Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key contractors, ensuring their capabilities meet the company's standards for quality, cost, and delivery.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors, with a focus on contractual and quality aspects and Identify, assess risks within the subcategory, implement mitigation plans to ensure project success.

Operational activity:

Make sure that contractual support is in place to support sites needs on the day-to-day basis.

Understand, follow, and promote ICL GPO work procedures and work instructions.

Job requirements

Civil/ Machine/ Materials Engineering, Economics, MBA

At least 5+ years of relevant work experience contractors management .

Proven experience in complex sourcing and procurement is a big advantage.

Excellent English is required. Additional language skills are an advantage.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrable track record of success in managing complex, cross-functional activities and developing/executing key procurement processes;

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
