About Gavan:

Gavan is an innovative startup focused on revolutionizing fat solutions in the food industry. With our unique fat emulsion, we aim to reduce saturated fat consumption across various food applications, replacing animal-based fats and tropical oils, particularly in the bakery sector. We are in the process of scaling our pilot plant and are looking for passionate, open-minded individuals who are eager to learn and grow, with a strong ability to learn independently to join our journey.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and implement fat solutions tailored for various food applications, with a primary focus on bakery products.

·      Present Gavan's innovative solutions to potential customers, effectively communicating their advantages to initiate the sales process.

·      Manage customer relationships by understanding their needs and adjusting solutions accordingly, providing technical support as needed.

·      Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across product development, R&D, sales & marketing, and regulatory practices to drive innovation and success.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Food Engineering (mandatory).

·      Extensive experience (5 years+) working in food factories and knowledge of production processes.

·      Proven experience in customer management and pre-sale processes.

·      Specialized knowledge in the bakery sector or fats & oils industries is a significant advantage.

·      Excellent command of English (native-level proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking); proficiency in an additional language is a plus.

·      Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.

·      Willingness to travel abroad frequently for client engagements and presentations.
