Description

Exactius is looking for a skilled and experienced Tableau developer to join our BI team. In this role, you’ll receive spec files detailing the required dashboard output and collaborate closely with our data engineers to ensure you have the necessary datasets. Following our design standards, you’ll build dashboards that meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable Tableau dashboards with data modeling to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize Tableau dashboards and site performance to ensure efficient load times and responsive user experience.
• Build, maintain, and monitor Tableau reports and dashboards, verifying data integrity and accuracy to support informed decision-making.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve dashboard efficiency, clarity, and usability, delivering greater value and insights to the organization.
• Learn and apply Exactius’ BI playbooks and conventions across all development tiers—dashboards, measures, business logic calculations, and data warehouse (DWH)—to maintain consistency and reliability.
• Configure and fine-tune settings on Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online to enhance functionality and align with best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective dashboard solutions and continuously refine them based on feedback and performance data.
• Document development processes, methodologies, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the BI team.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience developing Tableau dashboards (required).
• Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large, complex data sets.
• Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to create efficient, user-friendly solutions aligned with business needs.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design, as well as excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Quick learner and collaborative team player who can work independently, with a positive attitude and a passion for data-driven solutions.
• Availability during EST working hours (9am - 3pm EST), or at least 50% availability within this timeframe.
• Proactive, ambitious, and committed to delivering impactful, high-quality dashboards that meet and exceed expectations.

Advantages

• Familiarity with additional BI tools, such as Power BI, Looker, Qlik Sense, or Sisense, is a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
