EMI Licensing Manager (EMEA Region)

We are seeking an experienced EMI Licensing Manager to lead and manage our licensing and regulatory initiatives with a primary focus on Kyrgyzstan, Europe, and the Middle East. This role is pivotal in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance, and driving expansion through effective licensing strategies. The candidate will also coordinate with merchants to facilitate payment acceptance within the EMI framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute EMI licensing strategies, particularly for Kyrgyzstan, Europe, and Middle Eastern markets.
• Lead the full licensing application process, including preparing documentation, managing timelines, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, advisors, and legal partners to stay ahead of regulatory changes in these regions.
• Coordinate with merchants to enable payment acceptance in the EMI sphere, ensuring smooth integration and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Finance) to align licensing and merchant management objectives with business strategies.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regional EMI regulatory requirements, including AML/KYC standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in EMI licensing and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on EMEA markets, specifically Kyrgyzstan, Europe, and the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly around EMI, AML/KYC, and payment services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
